NC SciFest: State of Innovation

Join us this April as we celebrate the State of Innovation with NCScifest!
NC SciFest is a month-long festival for science in North Carolina that seeks to spread science education through exciting, hands-on science events across the entire state.
At AMOS we’ll be exploring 2024’s theme State of Innovation by showcasing Asheville residents and nonprofits who are coming up with amazing inventions, programs, and initiatives that make our city more innovative, exciting, and colorful!
Drop by the STEAM lab for fun take home activities and kits, come by to hear from guest presenters, or make experiments of your own alongside AMOS educators to see how you too can contribute to the State of Innovation!
STEAM Lab is open during regular AMOS operating hours pending any special closures. Facilitated experiences occur on Saturdays with AMOS Educators and volunteers. For more information on STEAM Lab programming call our Front Desk at 828-254-7162.
