Under the Stars
Thank you for a stellar evening at Under The Stars 2022!
On behalf of the Asheville Museum of Science (AMOS), thank you for attending and supporting Under the Stars on September 15th. It was a wonderful night of dinner, dancing, and celebration of science! Final totals are still being tallied, but with your generous giving, the event raised over $90,000! All funds raised will be used for STEAM education accessibility and expansion throughout WNC, which will ensure we can continue to fund AMOS’s mission of promoting STEAM literacy in Western North Carolina. To say this year’s Under the Stars was a huge success is an understatement, and we owe that all to you – thank you for helping us reach for the stars!
75% of all formative science learning takes place in informal education environments. With this in mind, AMOS brings hands-on, quality STEM education to students who may otherwise not have affordable access to science literacy programming or quality educational resources. The contributions we received mean that programs like AMOS’s STEAM Engine and Museums for All (financially accessible museum exploration) will have the opportunity to continue and thrive as AMOS enters an exciting phase of exhibit expansion. With exciting growth on the horizon and our ongoing museum offerings, it is with heartfelt sincerity that we express our appreciation for your contribution to this critical community need!
