Outreach Programming Travel Fee
AMOS provides travel to all outreach programming in Buncombe County schools and organizations for FREE!
For schools and organizations outside of Buncombe County, there is an $0.84 charge per mile. Mileage is based on the distance from AMOS (43 Patton Ave, Asheville NC 28801) to your school or organization’s destination.
Downtown Parking for Buses and Parent Chaperones
Bus parking: Please review the AMOS Bus Parking Instructions to become familiar with the free bus parking spaces located in downtown Asheville nearest to the museum.
Parent chaperone parking: AMOS does not have a parking lot and we are unable to validate parking. The nearest parking garage is the Rankin Avenue Garage at 84 West Walnut Street. Additional information about street parking options, garage rates and bike lockers can be found at the City of Asheville’s Parking Services page.
