Join us in the STEAM Lab for special Star Wars drop-in workshops. Caregivers and kids will work together to experiment with making their own unique Junk Droid! Explore engineering together in this AMOS Educator guided but family-driven workshop!
11am- Design a Junk Droid (Ages 2-5)
For our shortest stormtroopers! Caregivers and kids work together to design and build colorful droids from spare parts, recyclables, and craft materials. Watch your droid come to life with simple circuits and mini motors!
11:30am- Design a Junk Droid (Ages 2-5)

12pm- Design a Junk Droid (Ages 6+)
These are the droids you’re looking for! Work with AMOS educators to design and build your own colorful Junk Droid from our collection of spare robot parts and whatever discarded scraps the AMOS Jawas could find! Use circuits, microcontrollers and coding to turn your droid into one of the 5 droid classes in the Star Wars galaxy.

Drop-in Workshops are free with admission and first come first serve, just sign up at STEAM Lab. Each workshop has a maximum capacity of 36 people, and caregivers need to have a 1:2 ratio (1 caregiver for every 2 children).
