Little Explorers Club Live: Rock Cycle/Gems & Minerals of WNC

Members, Join an AMOS Educator for a Preschool Science Experience, Live! 

Join us online Friday mornings to explore the world around us and have some fun with science. Our member exclusive program will feature science demonstrations & activities, story time, and real-time interaction with our educator, as well as other little explorers. Do you like crystals & gemstones? Have you ever looked at pretty rocks in your backyard or a local park? Where do rocks & minerals come from? Western North Carolina has an amazing variety of gems & minerals, including rubies, emeralds, sapphires, gold, lots of mica, and some of the clearest quartz in the world. Tune in to learn more about the awesome geology found under our feet.

Program Time:  10:00 a.m
