Summer Camp in a Box!
Get your Summer Camp in a Box featuring 5 activities with included consumable supplies, coloring pages, extra activities, online resources, and more! These kids are great for kids age 4-8 with parent help, and age 9-12 without parent help!
Each theme will correspond to one to two weeks of our Daily Dose of Science series, where you’ll be able to find more fun activities, videos of some of the challenging activities, and an Ask a Scientist on Friday, related to the theme! Educators are available to help all summer long, too!

Themes:
STEAM It Up:
Can’t decide which subject is your favorite? Experience all the sciences with engaging activities featuring Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math! Our STEAM It Up package includes activities focusing on ocean acidification, artistic techniques, entomology, anthropology, and space!
Robotics and Engineering:
Program your way through robotics and engineering! Practice basic technology, architecture, and dexterity with creative crafts. Discover the worlds of technology and engineering with activities such as balloon-powered cars, rocket reactions, hydraulics, coding, and robotic hands.
Natural Explorers:
Explore the wonders of our natural world and the environmental forces that influence its development. Become a naturalist by learning about ecosystem relationships, adaptations, biodiversity, biomes, and climate change.
Intro to Space:
Launch yourself into the cosmos and explore the stars and planets of our solar system! Our space week will guide you through planetarium shows, the vastness of space, constellations, planetary rovers, and the artistic representations of space.
Dinosaurs:
Travel back in time to study how our world has evolved from dinosaurs and ancient animals to where we are today! Explore how dinosaurs, fossils, and geologic changes help us reconstruct our Earth’s history. Activities include paleontology activity booklets, creating your own dinosaur, excavation of bones, and fossil casting! This box contains a Laura Lynn Chocolate Chip Cookie. Please let us know if allergies are present and we will not include that component.

Boxes can be shipped or picked up at the museum, just choose what you’d like at checkout. We will contact you via email when your box is ready to be picked up.
