Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers & interns are an integral part of our team. Whether you’re helping at a special svent, supporting daily operations, or supporting STEAM education, your time & talents make science come alive for our community!

Begin your AMOS adventure here!

Support our Education team with camps & field trips at AMOS or educational programs out in the community .  Regularly scheduled and as needed . Primarily  weekdays 

Behind the scenes, our hands-on exhibits and STEAM lab activities require constant care and cleaning. A great opportunity if you are interested in the general operations of a small hands-on museum.

Docents bring a whole new level of guest engagement with our exhibits and activities. Primarily weekends with increased need surrounding the holiday rush. Regularly scheduled .

Sharing information about our museum and science in WNC is vital to our mission . After AMOS Training, remote support options available. Regularly scheduled and as needed.
