WORK! is designed by the Asheville Museum of Science as a pop-up exhibit exploring the real-world work of women STEAM leaders in Western North Carolina and the Qualla Boundary.
WORK! WNC Women in STEAM- On View until 9/20!
As part of this region’s STEM ecosystem, we are eager to connect more children and families in WNC with local STEAM leaders that reflect the lived experiences of women in rural Appalachia.
This hands-on exhibit will be shown at AMOS, with plans to continue as a traveling exhibit for local libraries in our hardest-to-reach communities across 6 partner counties.
WORK! promises to be an interactive exhibit with enormous impact. We look forward to your support in showcasing WNC’s diverse workforce and ensuring that STEAM pathways in Appalachia are reflected and celebrated!
