STEAM Lab: Which and Why?
Everyday we’re confronted with practical puzzles- which shoes are the best ones to wear today? Which kind of breakfast should we eat? Which is the correct type of tool for the job?
We solve so many puzzles throughout the day and don’t even think twice- but how do we really know what we know, and how do we explain it to others?
Work together on simple puzzles that mimic activities, problems, and challenges we encounter in our everyday lives. Experiment with logic, communication, and question asking to investigate “Which” and “Why?”!
STEAM Lab is open during regular AMOS operating hours pending any special closures. Facilitated experiences occur during “Educator on Duty” at 11am and 3pm on weekends when noted. For more information on STEAM Lab programming call our Front Desk at 828-254-7162.
