STEAM Lab: Curiosity’s Birthday!

Join AMOS staff as we celebrate the August 5th birthday of the Curiosity Mars Rover!
Conduct your own Martian experiments using tools similar to what Curiosity uses in real life. Measure light using prisms and spectroscopes, make your own floating lunar lander out of recycled materials, find the perfect wheels for exploring the surface of Mars, and search our sensory bins for rocks found on Mars.
STEAM Lab is open during regular AMOS operating hours pending any special closures. Facilitated experiences occur during “Educator on Duty” at 11am and 3pm unless otherwise noted. For more information on STEAM Lab programming call our Front Desk at 828-254-7162.
