Saturday STEAM: Nanotechnology

In conjunction with World Science Day and International Science Center & Science Museum Day, join us in the AMOS STEM lab from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM to explore the very, very small world of science called nanotechnology with UNCA professor Oksana Love. Join the UNCA Chemistry Department for hands-on activities and experiments all about concepts in NANO-chemistry! We will learn about surface area and the effects of increasing surface area on the rate of a reaction, look into the conductivity of graphite, and make hydrophobic “nano” material.
