SatSTEAM: The Chemistry of Food & Love with UNCA

Come join UNCA Chemistry Department ACS (American Chemical Society) Student Chapter for learning chemical concepts in “Love and Food”. Learn about density, hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties, and pH! We will create Valentine cards with “secret message”, make hearts on oily surfaces, observe colors and their properties in milk, and will try to sink a marshmallow!
