Join us to meet and drive the AMOS Rover December 20th from 11-12pm and 2-3pm!
Our Rover is proudly modeled after 2nd generation Mars Rovers, “Spirit” and “Opportunity.” AMOS’ Mars Rover features six-wheel drive and a rocker-bogie suspension system. Mars rovers are NASA’s robotic field geologists. They use instruments to seek evidence about whether the environment on Mars may have once been capable of supporting life.
AMOS’ Mars Rover was built and donated by Asheville’s Beatty Robotics. Out robot’s solar wings have been removed to better see the internal mechanics!
