Heather Guetterman is a PhD student studying nutrition at Cornell University. Right now she is doing research in southern India to improve women’s nutritional status (in her photo, she is leading a presentation with her amazing staff members in India). Before that at the University of Illinois, she did research on how nutrition affects the gut microbiome. She loves everything about nutrition, and has had many experiences outside of research – from cooking classes in France to teaching nutrition to kids with HIV in Botswana. When she’s not too busy with school, she enjoys cooking, painting, and running.
