Below is some information to help you in preparation for visiting AMOS and ensure you have the absolute best experience!


Hours of Operation (General Public and Members)

Sunday: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Monday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Tuesdays:  CLOSED

Wednesday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Thursday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Friday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Saturday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

*Please note that inclement weather or holidays may affect these hours. The museum is closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. The museum will close early (3PM) on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

*Member-Exclusive Hours require advanced registration for guaranteed entry. Availability is affected by scheduled programming and staffing. Please note that inclement weather or holidays may affect these hours.

Admission

All visitors 3 years old and older: $10 per person

Ages 2 & Under are always FREE

We participate in the ASTC Passport Program (Association of Science & Technology Centers)-please provide valid proof of your ASTC membership for discounts to be applied.

We offer 50% off Admission for members of qualifying organizations (offer is not valid with other discounts).

Food & Drink

There is no food or beverage allowed in the exhibit halls except for lidded water bottles. We ask that all other food and beverage items remain stored outside the museum (or left with visitor services at the discretion of AMOS staff members). We have recycle and trash bins available throughout the museum.


Adult Supervision and Safety

Adult supervision is required at all times and we ask that adults maintain close supervision of younger guests. Children 16 and under are not permitted in the museum without an accompanying adult.

If a child gets separated from an adult please notify a staff member immediately so we can ensure CODE ADAM is quickly put in effect.

Shoes must be worn at all times (optional for the tree climb only)

Restrooms are for museum guests only-AMOS does not offer public restrooms


Service Animals

AMOS complies with and follows standard rules and regulations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for Service Animals.

We are sorry but we do not allow any animal besides a service animal in our museum.


Strollers, Coats, and Additional Items

We have a coat rack available as well as space for stroller storage-please note we do not have a coat check and each guest is responsible for their own items. AMOS is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
