Our museum features hands-on exhibits and a variety of scavenger hunts to help guide youngsters through the museum. We offer fun programs for all age groups and interests. Find more information below or contact our education department for specifics.
Saturday Morning Science
What better way to spend a Saturday with your kiddos than discovering how fun science can be?
Join our staff for family-friendly activities on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month. These events are always included with paid admission or with an AMOS membership. Events are drop-in, first come / first serve between the hours of 10am-12pm.
Homeschool Monday
AMOS is excited to announce our revamped homeschool program!
On the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month an AMOS educator will lead a hands-on 50 minute program open to homeschoolers. These programs will run from 2:00pm-3:00pm. Pre-registration is required, please check-out our events calendar for class descriptions and registration details.
STEM Lab
Join us Saturdays as we host educator led activities in our STEM lab! Self guided activities are always available during open STEM lab hours.
Little Explorers Club
On the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month preschoolers (3-5yrs) can enjoy our Little Explorers Club!
Preschoolers and caregivers will have exclusive access to AMOS from 9-9:45am for guided activities, free play and exhibit exploration!
Each month AMOS will design the Little Explorers Club activities around a specific theme. Pre-registration is required. Search our event calendar to find the next Little Explorers Club and be sure to register before space fills up!
